The College’s most talented drag kings and queens dazzled attendees of PRISM’s fifth annual Drag Show, a fundraiser held in the Travers and Wolfe main lounge Thursday.
2. “Huston lectures about great, safe sex” April 22, 2009
Award-winning journalist, sex educator and motivational speaker River Huston addressed sexuality, self-esteem and alcohol-related assault April 14 in Kendall Hall.
3. “Mystique of the East dazzles” April 29, 2009
With a colorful array of music, dance, theater and fashion, the 17th annual “Mystique of the East” celebrated the beauty of various Asian cultures on Friday in Kendall Hall. Sponsored by the Asian American Association (AAA) along with the Chinese Culture Club, the Japanese Club, the Indian Student Association and Barkada, the event aimed to raise awareness and appreciation of Asian cultures, history and heritage on campus.
4. “First Diversity Day event unites community” September 8, 2009
Students of all races, genders and sexual orientations participated in “Celebrate Diversity Day” on Sept. 1, which featured a series of talks addressing diversity and other issues facing the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community.

Nestled among Georgian colonial buildings, spherical public art and hot meals just a swipe away, it is all too easy for students at the College to forget that some of our neighbors in Trenton wake up hungry each morning and go to bed hungry each night, often without a roof over their heads.
